Nitasha Canine is a licensed healthcare professional. MD license # M00166. She is a graduate of The National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a functional exercise specialist. She holds certificates in nutrition, kickboxing fitness, and massage therapy. She graduated from The Baltimore School of Massage in 1998 and has taken many continuing education certifications since then to uphold the highest standards of service in this industry. She has many references concerning her competence and has a vast network of professionals she refers to from doctors of osteopathy to acupuncturists. She refers clients to these sources when necessary.

Nitasha Canine started her business, Back In Balance, LLC, in 1998 to educate and empower her clients about the benefits of routine preventative self care through therapeutic massage, nutrition, and exercise. She is adamant that all of her sessions be designed around a person’s desired lifestyle and fitness level.
