Tash has a very deep and wide training and understanding of the body which allows her to integrate many modalities into her therapeutic approach. “My aim is balance. To use a carpenters analogy, I believe it is important to incorporate hammers and the finest sandpaper. I am practical in my bodywork strategy in that I use whatever approach is the right tool for the job given where we are in the building process.” Tash believes health and wellness is something we build over time and this is why she cultivates therapeutic relationships with her clients. As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
In addition to attending massage school and becoming a licensed massage therapist back in 1998, Tash completed programs in additional health and wellness genres. In 2000 and 2001 she attended hypnotherapy school in Northern VA with Kay Wakinshaw at SEEC. Tash was interested in helping people break unwanted habits and exploring reincarnation and past life regression therapy. In 2005 she became certified in nutrition counseling, fitness training, and corrective exercise with The National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has trained with some of the leading experts in the fields of wellness, mind-body connection and therapeutic bodywork. While living in Annapolis, MD she worked in health clubs as the personal training director for two years designing health and wellness regimens for the club’s clientele while maintaining her private practice. Eventually she left the club scene and put her attention into her business full time. Tash trained in sports massage and barefoot shiatsu in 2011 and 2012. Structural Integration and Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment CE’s were taken in 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2015.
Tash trained with a high level spiritual master for seventeen years from 2004 to 2022 learning how to develop a deep relationship with God, spiritually travel the heavens and put spiritual keys and practical life skills to work in her life. She enjoys serving fellow Souls and sharing God’s Ways and Love when opportunities present. She continues to learn and grow as a healing arts professional and author.
Tash now lives with her wife and three fur babies in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. She moved her busy practice from Charlottesville in 2020 and works from her wonderful home studio (separate from the main house). A lifelong athlete, Tash enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, snowboarding, motorcycles, surfing (when there’s a hurricane a brewing) and hiking with her dog. She understands the frustrations of pain and injury and has been receiving therapeutic massage and other modalities of bodywork for many years.
