Tash has a deep and wide training and understanding of the body, mind, and Soul which allows her to integrate many modalities into her therapeutic approach. “My aim is balance. To use a carpenters analogy, I believe it is important to incorporate hammers and the finest sandpaper. I am practical in my healing arts strategy using whatever approach is the right tool for the job given where we are in the building process.” Tash believes health and wellness is something we build over time and this is why she cultivates therapeutic relationships with her clients. As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

In addition to attending massage school and becoming a licensed massage therapist back in 1998, Tash completed programs in additional health and wellness genres. In 2000 and 2001 she attended hypnotherapy school in Northern VA with Kay Wakinshaw at SEEC. Tash was interested in helping people break unwanted habits, lose weight and quit nicotine. In 2005 she became certified in nutrition counseling, fitness training, and corrective exercise with The National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has trained with some of the leading experts in the fields of wellness, mind-body connection and therapeutic bodywork. While living in Annapolis, MD she worked in health clubs as the personal training director for two years designing health and wellness regimens for the club’s clientele while maintaining her private practice. She loves working with women in their forties, fifties and beyond to help them understand their body and specializes in intermittent fasting and ketogenic lifestyles as a way of weight and health management. She is available for consultation in person or via Zoom on the computer.

Tash trained in sports massage, Thai massage and Ashiatsu in 2007, 2011, 2012. Structural Integration and Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment CE’s were taken in 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2019. She participated in a personal and intense training from 2004 to 2022 deepening her relationship with God, learning about the nature of our true self called Soul, getting over her childhood “crap” and learning spiritual keys and practical life skills which are shared with clients when opportunities present. She continues to learn and grow as a healing arts professional and published author. Tash lives with her wife of 21 years and three fur babies in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.

She moved from Annapolis, MD in 2012 started over in Charlottesville and eventually moved her busy practice from Charlottesville to Greenwood, VA in 2020 during the Covid- 19 pandemic. She works from a home studio (separate from the main house).  A lifelong athlete, Tash enjoys road cycling,  mountain biking, motorcycles, surfing,  exploring nature and camping and hiking with her dogs. She understands the frustrations of pain, injury and being “stuck” in unwanted behaviors and has been receiving bodywork and various healing arts for many years.
